U ovom tekstu autor izlaže gledišta o ljudskom biću koja se nalaze u muslimanskoj (pro)duhov(lje)noj literaturi koju su ponajviše oblikovali muslimanski autori iz područja tesavvufa i islamske filozofije. U prvom dijelu se spominje odnos između nevidljive i vidljive zbilje, odnosno, skrivenog i očitovanog svijeta u čovjeku kao halifi. Potom se govori o ljudskim težnjama koje streme ka dostizanju duhovnog savršenstva te o tome šta sve ta savršenost podrazumijeva. Nakon toga dolazi dio o čovjekovoj zadaći i onome što mu osigurava posebno mjesto u poretku egzistencije. Izvršenje tog zadatka i ozbiljenje spomenutog savršenstva vodi do lijepočinstva, zbog čega se autor ukratko osvrće i na njega. U posljednjem dijelu predstavlja se veza između čovjeka kao sluge i Boga kao Služenog.

“The Human Being as a Reflection of Eternal Light”: The Human Being in Muslim Spiritual Literature

Abstract
In this text, the author presents the views of the human being that are found in Muslim spiritual literature, which was mostly shaped by Muslim authors from the fields of Tasawwuf and Islamic philosophy. The first part discusses the relationship between the invisible and visible reality, that is, the hidden and manifested world in the human being as a caliph. It then talks about human aspirations that aim to reach spiritual perfection and what that perfection entails. Next, the human's task is described and what ensures him a special place in the order of existence. The completion of this task and the realization of the aforementioned perfection leads to beauty, which is why the author briefly refers to it. In the last part, the connection between the human being as servant and God as Served is presented.
