U ovom radu predstavljen je Ešrefoglu Rumi, jedan od važnih predstavnika turske tesavvufske književnosti, koji je živio u četrnaestom i petnaestom stoljeću u Izniku i Bursi. U radu se izlažu osnovni podaci o njegovom životu i duhovnom putu. Premda je Rumi sprva bio pripadnik bajramijskog derviškog reda, čiji je rodoslovnik šejh hadži Bajram Veli, njegov sejri-sulūk odvest će ga kasnije do sirijskog grada Hame i šejha kadirijskog tarikata Husejna Hamevija. Zahvaljujući tome, Ešrefoğlu Rumi postat će eponim ešrefijskog kola kadirijskog tarikata. Pored osnovnih biografskih podataka u radu su predstavljena i djela Ešrefoğlu Rumija, te odabrani primjeri poezije iz Šejhovog Divana. Možemo konstatirati da se Rumijeva poezija temelji na tesavufsko-etičkom kodeksu, te stoga više pripada žanru tekijske poezije negoli čisto divanskoj poeziji. Iako se dosada na našem jeziku nije pisalo o Šejhovom životu, njegove ilahije učile su se u bosanskim tekijama, što saznajemo iz zapisa u tekijskim medžmuama.
Sheikh Eshrefoğlu Rumi – Turkish Poet and Sufi of the Fifteenth Century

Abstract
This paper presents the personality of Eshrefoğlu Rumi, one of the important representatives of Turkish Sufi literature, who lived in the fourteenth and fifteenth centuries in Iznik and Bursa. The paper presents basic information about his life and spiritual path. Although Rumi was initially a member of the Bayrami Dervish order, whose founder is Sheikh Haji Bayram Vali, his sayri-suluk will later lead him to the Syrian city of Hama and the Sheikh of the Qadiri Tariqa Huseyn Hamavi. Thanks to this, Eshrefoğlu Rumi will become the eponym of the Ešrefi circle of the Qadiri tariqat. In addition to basic biographical information, the work of Eshrefoğlu Rumi and selected examples of poetry from Sheikh’s Divan are also presented. We can state that Rumi's poetry is based on the Sufi ethical code, and, therefore, belongs more to the genre of tekke poetry than purely Divan poetry. Even though until now there was no writing about the Sheikh's life in our language, his hymns were recited in Bosnian tekkes, as we learn from records in tekke’s collections.
